About Us

Find out more about us- why we exist, how we got to where we are today, and what's coming next.

Our purpose

We are more than an e-commerce platform; making something requires consideration, patience and heart. This lives and breathes through us & our Partners in all we do together.

We believe in a future - no matter how far away - where small brands together give big corporates a run for their money.

Our Partners are passionate about their craft, their materials, their skills, their processes. About the joy they bring when something arrives that has been planned, designed, selected, crafted, packed and delivered with care. And we are passionate about sharing them with customers and about their success. Together, we have purpose.

Because passion, purpose and a meaningful future should be for the many, not for the few.

Our story

Founded in 2006, Not On The High Street is the best-loved curated modern marketplace connecting small brands with the world. Our marketplace brings together over 5000 small entrepreneurs selling more than 350,000 products with over 4 million customers

We're here to help customers discover amazing products for all of life's needs; whether they're looking for a gift or something for themselves. We provide small brands across the UK with an engaged customer based, expert business support and ready-made tech and data infrastructure.

Where to next?

Shopping with us is an opportunity for customers to be conscious consumers, bringing human values back into retail and allowing them to buy products that say something about who they are, which is why we’re single minded in our ambitions for growth. Our talented team of 100+ experts pulls together with kindness, creativity and ambition every single day, to deliver an ambitious strategy that will see us bring even more artisanal, handmade, and curated products to customers looking for something individual for themselves, their homes and gardens or as a gift for someone special in their lives.

Our aim is to become the go-to destination for both gifting and self-purchase, and to provide a platform to connect small creative brands in the UK with customers all over the world.

Our Values

At NOTHS, we've got four values which guide everything we do. By living and breathing these values, we're able to move at pace, whilst being thoughtful and intentional.

Be speedy, not perfect

We’re nimble, take ownership, and move at pace to achieve our goals. We act, then use learnings to refine.

Champion team spirit

We’re playful and compassionate. We trust each other and raise each other up. All for one and one for all.

Stay focused

We keep the main thing, the main thing. We prioritise, react to change, and don’t get distracted.
