Flexibility

Enforcing a rigid 9-5:30 working day is far from the best possible way to work. As such, we give (and expect) some flexibility when it comes to working hours, as long as it works best for everyone.

Why do we need flexibility?

There are many reasons why flexibility can be of great benefit...
- Maybe you work better early in the morning, or later in the evening.
- You may have childcare responsibilities- like school runs, clubs, or appointments.
- We all have stuff to do! Whether that's going to the shop, popping for a run, or just having a lie-in in the morning. Nice.

Above everything, we encourage NOTHS-ers to plan their work around their energy and other life priorities, as much as possible.

Our Flexible Schedule

On a standard day, we all have up to 2 hours of flex to use. This could look like starting your day earlier and finishing earlier, starting later and finishing later, or taking an extra long lunch.

We encourage everyone to use flexibility in the way that's best for them- whether that's splitting up the two hours over the course of the day, or taking it all at once. We want to empower our NOTHS-ers to do what feels right for them.
